Recently she was seen in an interview with Anupama Chopra on the Youtube channel Film Companion. In this chat show, the Bollywood actress is seen answering questions about the film and her experience. While speaking about the film GoodLuck Jerry, which is a remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila which starred Nayanthara, the actress explains how her film was different from the South version.

“I think I have watched Kolamaavu Kokila just once. Nayanthara was such a badass in the film. The film was so much fun. But our world (referring to GoodLuck Jerry) is completely different. Till I did this film, I never realized how North Indians and South Indians are so different. Because the way Nayanthara played her character is very different. She is a huge star and what she did in the film was quite iconic. So I think it might be a little counterproductive to try and attempt to do the same thing,” said Janhvi.

Anupama Calls This Tamil Word As ‘Drugs’

Coming quickly on to the next, Anupama mistakenly referred to Kolamaavu as Cocaine or drugs. She wanted to relate the word with the subject of the film which is all about drug smuggling. “So, of course, Kolamaavu means Cocaine in Tamil. Which is quite relatable to the subject of the film,” she said. Surprised by the revelation, Janhvi Kapoor appeared clueless.
