After Aamir Khan praised Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, netizens believe that the actor did this to ‘save his film Laal Singh Chaddha.’

Aamir Khan was recently taking part in the promotion of RRR in New Delhi. During the press session, a media person asked the 57-year-old actor about his views on The Kashmir Files.

Many hoped that Aamir will either try to avoid the question or give a controversial answer. But surprisingly, he voiced in favor of The Kashmir Files. The superstar said that he will definitely watch the film because it is one part of our history that gives a lot of pain to us.

According to Aamir, the things that happened with the Kashmiri Pandits are ridiculous and every Indian must watch this movie which has been made on this topic.

“This film has connected the emotions of all the people who believe in humanity and that’s what is wonderful and so I will definitely watch this movie. And I am happy that the film is booming and I believe that this time in India which people should look at the things carefully,” he adds.

Despite being positive over the film, the incident triggered some negative responses from Twitter users. Netizens believe that Aamir Khan said this to ‘save his film Laal Singh Chaddha.’ While others slammed the superstar for not watching the film. One user even said that he will not watch Lal Singh Chaddha- the upcoming release of Aamir Khan.

Another Twitter user also said, “He knows how to save his flop film” “Never trust @amirkingkhan he has sensed the feelings of the nation and playing to the gallery.”
