Sandalwood’s Producer, Husband of Malashree, Ramu Passed Away Due to Coronavirus

Sandalwood’s popular producer, husband of the famous actress Mala Shree, Ramu has passed away today succumbing to corona virus. It’s truly devastating to know that he is no more. Mr. Ramu was undergoing treatment in a private hospital, Bengaluru. He was 52.

Ramu was a well-known producer and distributor known for his works in Kannada cinema. Some of the films produced by Ramu are AK 47, Lockup Death, Kalasipalya, Golibar, and many more.

Speaking to TV9, Puneeth Rajkumar expressed his grief saying, ‘It’s unbelievable. He was one of the generous producers in the industry. It feels sad and I’ve no words. Our movie ‘Rajakumara’ title was with him and he gave us happily. He was very soft-spoken and I share lot of memories with him.”

Devraj, popular actor told, “I just got to know the news and it’s a 30 year journey for me with him. He was such a good person and it’s really sad. “

In line with this, Sandalwood actors have requested the public to follow the Coronavirus guidelines and get vaccinated at the earliest.
