Everybody Owes Her An Apology: Huma Qureshi Supports Rhea Chakraborty

Huma Qureshi took to Twitter and wrote that everybody owes Rhea Chakraborty an apology after the actress was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Wednesday (October 7). Huma Qureshi wrote, “Everyone owes #RheaChakraborty an apology .. And there must be an investigation into people who started these murder conspiracy theories .. Shame on you for destroying a girl and her family’s life for your agendas (sic).”

Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail by the Bombay High Court earlier today. The actress was in judicial custody for the past 28 days. She left from Byculla jail at around 5:30 pm and reached her residence at 6:30 pm today.

Meanwhile, Rhea’s brother, Showik Chakraborty remains in judicial custody. His bail plea was rejected by the Bombay High Court today and he will be in judicial custody till October 20, as ordered by a special NDPS Court. Both Rhea and Showik were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for alleged procurement of drugs. The NCB is investigating the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are also probing the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. The CBI investigation is now focusing on finding out the reason behind the actor’s suicide after the AIIMS special medical team ruled out the possibility of murder in the case.

Earlier today, Swara Bhasker had reacted to AIIMS report. She wrote, “Hey! Now thay both CBI and AIIMS have concluded that #SushantSinghRajput tragically died by suicide… weren’t some people going to return their government bestowed awards? (sic).”

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh, said that there should be an enquiry conducted on Dr Sudhir Mishra, who led the AIIMS doctors’ panel. He also said that they had asked for a copy of the AIIMS report, which was not provided to them. Vikas Singh then said that they will move the court if AIIMS report is not submitted to them.
