The team of AIIMS doctors, who accompanied the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team to Mumbai to investigate the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, has ruled out any foul play or murder in the actor’s death. In their report to the CBI, the AIIMS team has ‘hinted’ that Sushant died by suicide. Responding to the AIIMS report, Kangana Ranaut took to social media and presented a few questions naming Mahesh Bhatt. Soni Razdan, the wife of the filmmaker, called out the actress for demonising mental health and sidelining expert’s opinion on Sushant’s death.
WHAT DID KANGANA RANAUT SAY ABOUT AIIMS REPORTS?
After AIIMS doctors ruled out any possibility of a foul play in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Kangana wrote on social media on Saturday, “Young and extraordinary individuals don’t just wake up one fine day and kill themselves. Sushant said he was being bullied and outcast, he feared for his life, he said movie mafia banned him and harassed him, he was mentally affected by being falsely accused of rape #AIIMS (sic).”

She presented three questions and also named Mahesh Bhatt in one of the them. She wrote, “With the latest progress we need answers to few questions. 1) SSR repeatedly spoke about big production houses banning him. Who are these people who conspired against him? 2) Why media spread false news about him being a rapist? 3) Why was Mahesh Bhatt doing his psychoanalysis? (sic).”

WHAT WAS SONI RAZDAN’S ANSWER TO KANGANA?
Responding to Kangana Ranaut’s tweet, Soni Razdan wrote, “For those saying that ‘people don’t suddenly wake up one morning and kill themselves’ … No they don’t. And that is the whole point. They suffer for many years and struggle long and hard before sometimes sadly just needing to opt for an out (sic).”

HOW MAHESH BHATT IS CONNECTED TO SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT’S DEATH CASE?
Earlier, a WhatsApp chat between Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, and Mahesh Bhatt leaked online, in which the actress is seen telling the filmmaker that she has broken all ties with the late actor. Rhea was in a live-in relationship with Sushant and had left his home on June 8. Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging dead at his home on June 14. Rhea told the CBI that she left Sushant’s home after having an argument with him.
In her WhatsApp chat with Mahesh Bhatt, the filmmaker is seen telling the actress that her father would be proud of her for her decision.
Kangana Ranaut dragged Mahesh Bhatt in the case as she alleged earlier that Rhea Chakraborty was seeking advice from the Sadak 2 director about Sushant’s mental health.
WHAT DOES THE AIIMS REPORT SAY?
The forensic team of Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences said in its report that Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was indeed a case of suicide, and not murder.
AIIMS forensics head Dr Sudhir Gupta rejects murder theory on SSR case. Tells @IndiaToday: ‘there should be no doubts over Sushant case, none at all. We examined all issues.. all seven top doctors have unanimously concluded that SSR died by suicide and not murder.’ #SSRSuicide

Dr Adarsh Kumar from the forensic medicine and toxicology department of AIIMS told India Today’s Special Investigation Team, “The Cooper hospital (report) suggests it’s a case of clear-cut hanging. …so far we haven’t found anything distinct (suspect) that we could place a question mark on. Everything is co-relating.”
When asked if the team will visit Mumbai again for investigation, Kumar said, “No, no. It doesn’t mean anything now. Why do we go there again? We have done what was to be done. The chapter is closed.”
After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Mumbai Police, who were investigating the case easily, had declared it a case of suicide. However, after Sushant’s father KK Singh’s complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and others at Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police Station, a team of Bihar Police officials reached Mumbai for investigation. They later recommended a CBI probe into the case. Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar the recommended a CBI probe of the case to the Centre. The CBI was then handed over the case.
Apart from the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) are probing the money laundering and the drug angle, respectively.
