Ahead of Deepika Padukone’s highly publicised appearance before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), certain details have come to light about her involvement in the alleged ‘drug chats’.
According to the latest reports on Times Now, NCB sources have confirmed that Deepika was the admin of the WhatsApp group which came under the agency’s scanner for alleged drug-related chats. The report further went on to state that celebrity manager, Jaya Saha was the “owner” and also an “admin” of the chat group that had Karishma Prakash as one of its members.

The central agency summoned Jaya Saha for three consecutive days of questioning. It was during these cross-questioning sessions that the talent manager alleged that it wasn’t her, but Deepika’s manager Karishma, who “catered to the celebrities.”
The report further alleges that Saha had shared screenshots that she had preserved of chats with her celebrity clients.
While Jaya was questioned earlier this week, Karishma appeared before the agency on Friday.
Fellow Bollywood actresses Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor have also been summoned for interrogation on Saturday.
According to reports, Jaya is expected to appear before the agency once again for questioning after they have probed the stars mentioned in the chats.
