On Monday, Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and Shruti Modi appeared in front of the Enforcement Directorate for their second round of questioning in relation to the money laundering case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s account.
A few days back Rhea Chakraborty was grilled for hours as a part of interrogation by the enforcement directorate. As per recent reports in Times Now, during her interrogation, Rhea was asked to submit the details of all the electronic devices she possessed. However, it has now come to light that Rhea had not disclosed one of her numbers she was using. The source said,
“It further adds that the Enforcement Directorate is likely to download the hidden data from Rhea’s belongings.”
While Rhea was interrogated for straight 9 hours, her brother Showik was interrogated for over 18 hours. On examining the First Investigation Report filed by the Patna police after Sushant’s father lodged a complaint, the enforcement directorate lodged a case of money laundering against Rhea Chakraborty and her family for suspicious transactions worth of Rs. 15 crores. Sushant’s father has accused Rhea of illegally transferring the amount from Sushant’s account. Post this, the Central Bureau of Investigation took over the probe after the recommendation of the Supreme Court and the Central government.
