The death of Sushant Singh Rajput has become a sensation across the social media and the national media. What looked like suicide has now turned into an important case likely to be handed over to the CBI.
The developments regarding the case in the last few weeks have been unexpected and filled with twists. Various theories have been floating on the internet including people claiming it to be a murder. The case took a turn towards nepotism when Kangana Ranaut came out with several details regarding Sushant’s life. But when Sushant’s father lodged a complaint against Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, for abetment of suicide and cheating. Since then the case has taken a wild turn.
There have been several allegations against Rhea Chakraborty and her family who have been accused of taking the entire control over the Sushant’s life. The allegations have also been about Rhea taking all the money from Sushant. The Mumbai Police Commissioner addressed a press conference and cleared the confusion around the investigation. In the press conference, he cleared the air about Rhea leaving Sushant’s house on June 8th. Speaking to the media, he said,
“Rhea Chakraborty left Sushant’s home on June 8th because she was also depressed, her mental condition was also not normal.”
Bihar Police Disappointed
Meanwhile, the Bihar police who have reached Mumbai to investigate the case have expressed their disappointment over the Mumbai police. The Deputy General of Police said,
“Instead of sharing evidence or handing over the postmortem and forensic reports of Sushant, they (Mumbai) have almost house arrested our SP. I have not seen such non-cooperation by any other state police. If the Mumbai Police are sincere in their approach, they should share the investigation with us.”
