Over the past two days, social media has been filled with discussions about Nepotism after the unfortunate death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The fans and well-wishers of the actor have taken to Social media to express their outrage against the rampant nepotism that exists in Bollywood. The celebrities under the radar are Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, and superstar Salman Khan. In the middle of this, Kangana Ranaut also released a video where she shared her thoughts about the industry.

Amidst this outrage, the celebrities under the radar have steeply lost their social media followers. Actress Alia Bhatt is the most affected in terms of followers. The actress reportedly lost 444K followers on Instagram. Producer Karan Johar also lost 188K followers on the same platform. Sonam Kapoor too lost 84K followers while superstar Salman Khan was the least affected with 50K followers.

Kangana Gains 1.47 Mn Followers

On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut’s video about the death of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has resulted in an increase in the number of followers on her social media handles. Kangana doesn’t have an official Instagram account but is active through an account managed by her team. The account overnight gained 1.47 followers.

Sushant’s close friend and actors Kriti Sanon and Shraddha Kapoor also gained 270K and 291K followers respectively. Both of them were present at the actor’s funeral alongside his rumored girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty who too gained 212K followers.
