Post the demise of the 34-year-old Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the debates around mental health and nepotism came back to social media.

A section of people believed that Sushant was suffering from depression because of the rampant nepotism in the Hindi film industry. Some even took names and pinned the blame on the filmmaker Karan Johar. Along with Johar, another name that popped in the debate was of Superstar Salman Khan.

Earlier reports of Salman Khan misbehaving or sabotaging the career of Sushant Singh Rajput surfaced on the internet as the superstar mourned the death of the actor. People even reminded him of the time when there was speculation that he sabotaged the career of Vivek Oberoi who was a rising star back then. This also gave rise to fresh stories to emerge out of the industry related to Khan.

Filmmaker, Abhinav Singh Kashyap who directed the super hit film Dabangg wrote a revealing post on Facebook where he accused Khan and his family to have sabotaged his career. He wrote,

“The reason I moved out of making Dabangg 2 ten years ago is that Arbaaz Khan in collusion with Sohail Khan and family was trying to take control of my career by bullying me. Arbaaz Khan sabotaged my second project.”

“Yeah, we have only ruined everything. You go watch his films first and then we’ll talk. Let him do whatever he wants, I am not going to waste time in reacting to what he says.”

In the post, Abinav had gone onto say that,

“Mr. Salman Khan and family sabotaged the release of the film and got their PROs to run a sustained negative smear campaign against me and my film Besharam before release.”

Besharam starred Ranbir Kapoor and released when he was at a career-high. However, Besharam bombed at the box office when it came out. Arbaaz Khan has also responded to the allegations. Speaking to the Times of India, Arbaaz Khan said that the family will be taking legal action against the filmmaker for his explosive comments.
