Will Probe “Profession Rivalry” In Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death: Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh

On Monday, Maharashtra Home Minister said that Mumbai Police would consider Sushant Singh Rajput’s reported clinical depression while conducting a probe into his death. He also said that the angle of ‘Professional Rivalry’ will also be explored during the investigation.

Sushant had passed away in tragic circumstances on Sunday

On Sunday, Bollywood was served a shocker, as news came out that popular actor Sushant Singh Rajput had died by suicide. He was suffering from depression, and this drove him to take the drastic decision, as per preliminary reports.

The news was an undigestable fact, as Sushant had been doing well in his career, and moreover, the actor was just 34 years old. In fact, Sushant’s last film, Chhichhore’, was a sleeper hit at the box-office.

Maharashtra Home Minister speaks on the matter

Ever since Sushant’s death, the topic of Nepotism has come into the picture. Multiple arguments on social media suggest that Sushant was suffering from depression due to the lack of projects in his hand. There are also reports which point out that Sushant had been banned by few prominent Bollywood producers a couple of months ago.

Maharashtra Home Minister, Anil Deshmukh, said that Mumbai Police would consider Sushant Singh Rajput’s reported clinical depression and “Professional Rivalry” while conducting a probe into his death. He tweeted:

Anil Deshmukh said that Mumbai Police will investigate Sushant’s death from the angle of ‘Professional Rivalry’ too. This is despite the postmortem reports which have revealed that Sushant had died by hanging himself.
