The Bollywood’s most gorgeous couple Deepika and Ranveer are looking more impressive in their upcoming film ‘83. The 34-year-old actress took to social media to share her first look as Romi Dev from Kabir Khan’s ’83’ movie. The film based on the Indian cricket team’s win at the 1983 World Cup, will unveil the true story of Kapil Dev and his team.

Ranveer is playing the lead role of Kapil Dev, who was the captain of the winning team in the World Cup 1983. Deepika, on the other hand, will be appearing as Romi Dev, wife of the former Indian captain.
The actress shared a picture with her husband where she is seen flashing short hair and wearing a high-neck top. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh standing right next to her is seen wearing the official blazer of Team India.
Sharing the photo, she wrote, “To be able to play a small part in a film that captures one of the most iconic moments in sporting history has been an absolute honor. I’ve seen very closely the role a wife plays in the success of her husband’s professional and personal aspirations in my mother and 83 for me in many ways is an ode to every woman who puts her husband’s dream before her own… (sic).”

The untold story of World Cup 1983
‘83’s shooting was completed in October last year and the team is all locked and loaded for April 10, 2020 release. An interesting thing about the movie is that the entire cast got trained under professional cricketers like Kapil Dev himself and Mohinder Amarnath.
The film directed by Kabir Khan also includes stars like Pankaj Tripathi and Boman Irani, who will be playing a crucial role.
