Mahendra Singh Dhoni has now become the second most admired man in India. Next only to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the former Indian captain has defeated the likes of Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.

According to YouGov’s survey, the former skipper is the second most admired man in India, next only to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Survey conducted from about 40,000 people across 41 countries; the list was divided into two separate categories, Men and Women. In this list for the most admired man in India, Modi emerged as the winner and the female boxer Mary Kom was rated as the most admired woman in the country.
The little master Sachin Tendulkar is the 2nd most admired sportsperson in the country while India captain Virat Kohli takes the 3rd place.

The survey says Modi has a score of 15.66% followed by MS Dhoni (8.58%), Ratan Tata (8.02%), Barack Obama (7.36%), Bill Gates (6.96%), Amitabh Bacchan (6.55%), Sachin Tendulkar (5.81%), Virat Kohli (4.46%) and Shahrukh Khan (3.63%).
In the list of most admired women in India, the ace boxer Mary Kom takes away the first place (10.36%) in the list. However, she also becomes the only Indian woman to have her name listed on the top 25 admired women in the world. The list is followed by Kiran Bedi (9.46%), Lata Mangeshkar (9.23%), Sushma Swaraj (7.13%), and Deepika Padukone (6.35%).
In the list of the most admired men in the world, Bill Gates topped the chart in the male list while Michelle Obama won the title at a global level among women. Prime Minister Narendra Modi makes it to the 6th place in the following category globally.
