Michael Vaughan Claims Sanjay Manjrekar Has Blocked Him After His Trolls On Twitter

The former cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar found himself in the rage of criticism by people, as he referred Ravindra Jadeja as a “bits and pieces cricketer”. Michael Vaughan was one of them who trolled Manjrekar’s thoughts. Vaughan continued to troll him when Jadeja pulled out a better performance in the field. However, after the series of trolls, Manjrekar reportedly blocked the English commentator off Twitter.

Majrekar, a subject of troll

Earlier, Manjrekar had made the remark about Ravindra Jadeja, when asked about his possible inclusion in the playing eleven after India’s loss to England at the ICC World Cup on Sunday. He had told, “I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at this point of his career in 50-over cricket. In Test matches, he is a pure bowler. But in 50-over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner.”

After this, Jadeja fired at the Indian commentator by saying he had played twice the number of games than Manjrekar and is still playing for the country. “Still I have played twice the number of matches you have played and I m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved.i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhea,” Jadeja said in a tweet.

Coming the match vs New Zealand, Ravindra Jadeja retained his place in the playing XI to make his second appearance of the tournament and as it turned out, his bowling and fielding were India’s vitals against Blackcaps in the incomplete semi-final of Tuesday. Amid his selection, Vaughan tweeted: Bits & pieces time … !!

And then, Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Henry Nicholls and also took the important catch of Kane Williamson. New Zealand batsmen were finding hard to play the spinner, it was then Michael Vaughan took the opportunity to troll Manjrekar constantly over this incident. Vaughan retweeted: “Bloody hell Bits & Piece can Spin it.”

Later on, the ‘swordplay’ reached its peak and Vaughan claimed that he had been blocked by Manjrekar on Twitter.

He then requested the cricketer turned commentator to unblock him on the twitter. He tweeted, “Come on Sanjay unblock me on Twitter … It’s only Bantz … !!!!.”

Vaughan then shared a photo of Yuzvendra Chahal relaxing in the boundary line when he was rested in the game against Sri Lanka. Only thing was he had cropped Manjrekar’s photo in the picture. The captioned again said,“ Come on Sanjay unblock me on Twitter … It’s only Bantz … !!!!.”
