Saaho Teaser Review: The Visuals Look Rich Except For A Very Few Cartoonish Shots

saaho teaser

The much-anticipated teaser of the multi-lingual action thriller, Saaho dropped today and here’s the compilation of all the thoughts after watching it.

Let’s begin by acknowledging that it is a well-cut teaser. The right kind for an action film. A ton of action shots is projected in front of our eyes throughout the teaser. We see glimpses of Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Chunkey Pandey. The world is presented in front of us where there are a lot of cars, bikes, trucks, guns, bullets, technology and of course, Prabhas and Shraddha.

The visuals look rich except for a very few cartoonish shots which can be sidelined till we see the film. The hard work is clearly visible. The background music, from whatever we have seen till now, is decent. Prabhas and Shraddha look good in the action sequences.
“Biggest action film from India”, is what the teaser says but what makes a good action film? Razor sharp stunts? Jaw dropping actions? Or something else?

With the newly released teaser, it is highly impossible to guess or make an opinion of the story. What we can guess is that it will, if done right, set a high standard for the forthcoming action flicks. Up until now, as far as we can see, the makers have done everything right – a popular leading man, a leading lady from a different industry to capitalize and the perfect tease. With a good story, it will be unstoppable once released. It needs a good story to recover the cost. It is speculated that the budget is over 300 crore while the official figure is yet to be out.
