The list for The Times 50 Most Desirable Men 2018 is out. As expected there are lots of surprises with many new entrants making it among the top 50 on their talent, sex appeal, and immense charm. So what makes these men click?
1. Vicky Kaushal
The “Uri: The Surgical Strike” actor grabs the first spot in the list sheerly on the basis of his high acting talent. Apart from his role as Major Vihaan Singh Shergill in Uri for which he had to add extra muscles to Iqbal Syed in Raazi, he seemed extremely comfortable in both the roles.
Although Vicky is quite happy about being the most desirable man in India, he believes it should be Virat Kohli as he is leading India at the World Cup. Interestingly, Vicky is on the list for the first time and has still grabbed the first spot.
2. Prathamesh Maulingkar
He is a footballer as well as a pageant titleholder and also the first Asian to win the Mister Supranational 2018 title at the age of 27. This Goan has always impressed the judges at all the competitions and has also won the Best Body Award at the competition. His single status and ripped physique make him a hot favorite among girls.
3. Ranveer Singh
The Bajirao of celluloid screen immediately impresses with his infectious charm, vibrancy and stunning performances. Be it a Simmba or Padmaavat, both released in 2018 he scores an edge over his contemporaries with his sartorial fashion sense, and overpowering screen persona. He got married to Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone last year in Italy.
4. Vijay Deverakonda
This new entrant to the Times Most Desirable Men 2018 list has an impressive screen presence. This actor from South has mesmerized the audience with his romcom Pelli Choopulu and the self-destructive Arjun Reddy. His rugged looks, awesome chiseled body, and a charming smile make him irresistible to girls.
5. Virat Kohli
The captain of the Indian cricket team is one of the best batsmen across all the formats in international cricket. He is also the highest paid sportsperson in the world and endorses multiple brands. His passion for fitness is well known. Virat Kohli is also regularly in limelight for the posts he shares with his wife Anushka Sharma, the famous Bollywood actress whom he married in 2017.

It includes Guru Randhawa, the famous Punjabi singer who is now also knocking the doors of Bollywood, cricket batsman KL Rahul, television actor Pearl Puri, actor Shahid Kapoor’s sibling and lead star of Dhadkan, Ishan Khattar, Love Ratri star Aayush Sharma, star cricketer from Jharkhand, Ishan Kishan, actor cum assistant director and brother of Vicky Kaushal, Sunny Kaushal, singer Jassie Gill, Indian television star Mohsin Khan, and Marathi actor Yashoman Apte.
Few of the celebrities who re-entered the list this year include Kannada actor Naveen Kumar Gowda popularly known as Yash, Indian model, and actor Freddy Daruwala, actor Aditya Roy Kapur, South Indian film star Dhanush, actor, singer and entrepreneur Arjun Kanungo, actor-producer Jisshu Sengupta, and model and actor Tovino Thomas.
Since the list is about the Times Most Desirable Men 2018, almost all the personalities in top 50 either belong to the film, fashion or entertainment world or to sports, especially cricket.
