Mandakini
Raj Kapoor’s 1985 film Ram Teri Ganga Maili marked Mandakini’s acting debut. With her very first movie, she captured the hearts of the audience. The actress, however, attracted attention because of her alleged relationship with the crime boss Dawood Ibrahim.
Mandakini had done well professionally. However, after one of her photos with Dawood Ibrahim went viral, her career began to decline. Soon after the 1996 film Zordaar was released, the actress vanished from the industry. Mandakini married Dr. Kagyur T. Rinpoche Thakur, a monk, in 1990 after converting to Buddhism. She currently instructs Tibetan yoga and is a devotee of the Dalai Lama.
Mamta Kulkarni
The 1990s phenomenon Mamta Kulkarni once ruled the big screen. After the release of her debut film, Tirangaa in 1993, she quickly found success.
