Salaar director Prashanth Neel and producer Vijay Kiragandur have done something unexpected due to constant pressure from fans for updates on Prabhas’ film.
Pressure from Prabhas’ fansĀ
Prabhas’ upcoming film ‘Salaar,’ directed by Prashanth Neel of ‘KGF’ fame, has piqued the interest of fans. Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on the film, which is set to be released in September. Their eagerness for updates, however, has had an unintended consequence: Director Prashanth Neel and producer Vijay Kiragandur have reportedly deactivated their Twitter accounts in response to the constant demand for ‘Salaar’ updates.
According to reports, the duo decided to avoid Twitter because fans were constantly asking for Salaar updates. Fans have been trolling and even abusing the filmmakers for not sharing any major updates on the film because they have been relatively tight-lipped about it. The director and producer have taken a break from social media due to the pressure from Prabhas’ fans.
The Rumors
In Fact, a few days ago, rumors circulated that Salaar’s release date had been pushed back. There was speculation that the release date would be influenced by Prabhas’ mythological film, ‘Adipurush,’ which is set to be released in June. However, the gossip was later debunked, as the makers confirmed that the Prabhas-starrer will be released on September 28 as planned.
Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan will play the female lead in ‘Salaar,’ opposite Prabhas. In addition, Prithviraj Sukumaran has been cast in a key role. The film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, and Easwari Rao. This Telugu drama will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, reaching an even larger audience.
