“Will Punish the tukde-tukde gang”, says India’s Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressing an event in Delhi. He also accused Congress to be the primary reason for disturbance in the country. He said that the party lead by Sonia Gandhi supported violence in the city’s street.

Punishing the rules violaters

After the whole country went against the Citizenship Law, the BJP has been continuously accusing Congress of encouraging violence and protests in various parts of the country. In the meantime, the home minister has asserted to take strict action against the one breaking the law. “It is time to punish the tukde-tukde gang, which is responsible for the streets of the national capital with the help of the Congress party. The people in Delhi should punish them,” Amit Shah said while addressing a rally.

In the last few days, several protests broke out in the national capital. Marking a horrifying event, hundreds of students were brutally assaulted by the police at Jamia University, for making a violent protest against the citizenship law. Various DTC buses and police vans were torched by the angry mob.

Shah blames Congress and AAP

Shah believes that it was the Congress party that trigged the violence since the beginning. “The opposition led by the Congress created confusion about the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA). When the discussion on the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) was held in Parliament, no was willing to say anything. After coming out, they started spreading misinformation and disrupted peace in Delhi,” said Shah.

Amit Shah also slammed the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government for “stealing credit” for the developmental work done by the central government in Delhi. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has forced everyone to follow the work culture. However, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Ji has done something entirely new. Did he think, why work? Why allot budgets and lay foundation stones for development projects? Work is already being done, just put your name on it,” Shah said.
