KGF: Chapter 2 is undoubtedly the most awaited film in India. All set to release on the 14th of April, the pre-release buzz is at an all-time high and the makers are revealing new things about the film day by day. Amidst Yash’s swag, Sanjay Dutt’s powerful character in the movie, one thing that has been in the talk is, why Anant Nag sir, who was a journalist, named Anand Ingalagi in the film, was replaced by Prakash Raj? To all such speculations, director Prashanth Neel has responded in the best way possible.
Anant Nag’s exit
While promoting the upcoming film KGF: Chapter 2, Prashanth Neel was questioned about the reason Anant Nag sir opted out of the film without a trace.
Answering the question, the KGF director responded, “This is a very personal matter, I think he should tell you why he decided not to be a part of the film. It is a very personal reason he did so.”
Justice to the film
Prashanth Neel believes that he had done justice to the film despite the veteran actor’s exit.
“Whatever the reason the veteran actor decided to quit, I am not going to comment on that. It is he who chose not to be part of the sequel and you have to respect his decision. In our agreements, we don’t force actors to be with us till the end. Everybody has their own choices. They all have their own priority, our priority is KGF.”
“After you watch KGF: Chapter 2, you will learn how we have done justice to the role. After he decided not to be part of the sequel, whatever we have done in the movie, I think we have done justice to the film,” says Prashanth Neel.
