Actress Kangana Ranaut has been hogging all the limelight these days. From alleging drugs usage by Bollywood celebs in parties to comparing Mumbai with Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, Kangana has not hesitated to make these serious comments.
However, her statements have not gone well with many, including Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar, who slammed the Panga actress for her “language”. Urmila expressed her disappointment over Kangana’s reply to veteran actress Jaya Bachchan.
In an interview with NDTV, Matondkar condemned Kangana for lashing out at senior colleagues and insulting other people who showered love and affection on her.
Urmila, who is famous for her work in Hindi films, believes that “with this kind of language” Kangana is setting a very wrong example for people of this country and especially the coming generation.
“Which girl from a civilized culture would use this kind of language to say âKya ukhaad loge,â all of these words speaking in this manner about a senior colleague like Jaya Bachchan ji. Is it all in good taste? Is it all in any kind of Indian culture. Which page of Indian culture teaches this?” Urmila said.
The actress-politician Matondkar went on to say that Kangana should have spoken about all these issues at the beginning itself.
Kangana recently faced a heated reaction from several actors, celebs and leaders after she got into a war of words with veteran actress and Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan earlier this week.
On September 15, Jaya Bachchan indirectly attacked Kangana saying, “Jis thaali me khaate hain usi me checked karte hain,” in reference with Kangana’s derogatory comments against the Mumbai and the city police force.
To this, Panga actress questioned the Rajya Sabha MP which plate has she and her industry given. She further revealed that a ‘Thali’ came across which had two minutes of role, an item number and a romantic scene that too after sleeping with the hero.
