“Want to act in a Pakistani Film” Ranbir Kapoor exhibits ‘New Era’ of artists

A director and producer from Pakistan in the crowd asked whether Ranbir Kapoor would be interested in working on a Pakistani film. Here’s how he reacts.

In what comes as a surprise, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor wishes to work for our neighbor’s film industry. He said he would like to act in a Pakistani film. Between December 1 and December 10, the 40-year-old attended the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. During a session, he talked about teaming up with actors in the Pakistani film industry and making a movie in Saudi Arabia.

It all happened after a director and producer from Pakistan in the crowd asked whether he would be interested in working on a Pakistani film. According to an audience member, the actors from Pakistan can’t work in the Indian industry anymore, and the same goes for the Indian actors.

“Now we have a platform like Saudi Arabia where we can jointly do films; I would love to sign you for a film. Would you be willing to work with the Pakistani team along with your team in Saudi Arabia?” the producer asks.

Collaboration 

Kapoor replies and praises the Pakistani film industry, stating, “Of course, sir. I think there are no boundaries for artists, especially for arts. Many congratulations to the Pakistan film industry for (The Legend Of) Maula Jatt. It is one of the biggest hits we have seen in the last few years. Of course, I would love to.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will star alongside Shraddha Kapoor in an unnamed film set to premiere on Holi in 2023. Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film is set for a 2023 release.
