Grief Continues For Film Industry
Since the lockdown, the Indian film industry has lost many of its actors. It was Irrfan Khan who passed away due to a long illness. A day after the death of Khan, veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away. Even as Bollywood was recovering from the loss of two gems, music director Wajid too breathed his last.
The month of June worsened this situation as the whole country was shaken by the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput who hanged himself in his Bandra Residence. His death created a massive uproar and brought the attention back to mental health, especially during the lockdown.
The south industry too lost another artist in the form of Mollywood director Sachy who passed away on the 18th of June. He had just delivered a super hit movie in Malayalam with Prithviraj Sukumaran. The death of Rajagopal has added to the sadness in the film industry as it is a massive loss of talent and wisdom.
