Varun Dhawan Seemingly Confirms Kriti Sanon’s Relationship With Prabhas

While appearing on the finale of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan hinted that his Bhediya co-star Kriti Sanon was dating Pan India star Prabhas. The duo is set to star in Om Raut’s directorial Adipurush.

Prabhas dating Kriti 

It has been a while now since the gossip has been suggesting that romance is brewing between Kriti and Prabhas. A report recently even suggested that the Adipurush stars are taking it slow but are quite serious. Furthermore, the actress calling her co-star during Koffee With Karan appearance further fuelled the speculations.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon have been busily promoting their latest release, Bhediya, across the country. Owing to the same, they graced Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 finale. On the show, judge and filmmaker Karan Johar asked Varun to name a few eligible single women from Bollywood. Kriti’s name was absent from the list Varun gave.

In a video that has been shared by fans of the actors on social media widely, Karan questions Varun why Kriti’s name was not on the list. Varun replies, “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath. (Kriti’s name is not here because her name is in someone’s heart. That man is not in Mumbai because right now he is shooting with Deepika).”

Fans took this as a confirmation

Kriti raised her hands in surprise at Varun’s response as others around them laughed. While Varun did not name Prabhas specifically, fans took this as a confirmation. Prabhas is working with Deepika on Project K, a Pan India film that also stars Amitabh Bachchan. However, they aren’t currently shooting together. Some fans did point this difference out and wondered if Varun is merely doing ‘PR for Adipurush’.

But the rumors of Kriti and Prabhas dating have been doing the rounds for quite some time. The lovebirds are starring together in Om Raut’s epic Adipurush, an adaptation of the Ramayana, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh. Though the actors have been tight-lipped about their relationship, fans are eagerly waiting for them to put an official confirmation on it.
