The cricket match between India and Pakistan is always a game that fans often love to see, this time the hype was so much that India couldn’t resist its own failure in the game, when it backfired in a form of terrible loss against Pakistan and is now booking people for cheering Pak team from India.
Udaipur Teacher Expelled From School
Nafisa Attari, a private school teacher from Rajasthan’s Udaipur was arrested on Monday, 25 October, after she posted a WhatsApp status celebrating the Pakistan cricket team’s win against India in the T20 World Cup. Attari’s status, captioned ‘we won’ in Hindi, featured photos of Pakistani cricket players and that had triggered the school officials which eventually led her to get expelled from the school ! FIR was registered against her under section 153 of Indian penal code but later she was released and granted bail over the matter.
She had to justify the update on the private messenger app and thus stated, “Our family members were divided into two and supported their teams. This, in any way, does not mean that I am supporting Pakistan”. “Someone messaged me asking whether I supported Pakistan. As the message contained emojis and it was a fun environment, I replied, ‘Yes’. However, that doesn’t mean that I support Pakistan. I am an Indian and I love my country. I love India as much as everyone else does,” Attari said in a video message. “As soon as I realised that I had made a mistake, I deleted the post. I am sorry if I have hurt anybody’s sentiments,” she quoted to a news agency.
Kashmir Medical College Celebrations
The J&K Police has registered two FIRs against hostel wardens, management and students of two medical colleges in Srinagar where students created a ruckus and raised anti-India abusive slogans after Pakistan won the match against India in the T20 world cup 2021.
Multiple videos of Government Medical College (GMC) and Sher E Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Srinagar had gone viral in which some students were seen chanting slogans against India and in praise of Pakistan. Already there are so many other matters to be discussed in the country and there are some busy creating unnecessary havoc in the name of National integration. What do you think about this?
