South cinema has been achieving massive supremacy for the last two-three years. And its popularity has overshadowed Bollywood. Many young actors now want to be a part of South Films. Previously, Mrunal Thakur and Alia Bhatt garnered a great deal of praise for their performances in Sita Ramam and RRR, respectively. And now reports suggesting that Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has been approached for two projects in the south film industry.
Recently a piece of news went viral on social media that said that the 25-year-old was approached to perform as a love interest opposite Telugu actor Jr. NTR. The film helmed as NTR 31 will be directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel.
And now according to recent reports, Janhvi has demanded a hefty fee that exceeds the per-film salaries of established actresses Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, and other popular South actresses.
After the successes of Sita Ramam and Pushpa
It is rumored that she has requested a sum higher than what Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna are asking for after the successes of Sita Ramam and Pushpa. Mrunal and Rashmika have increased their signing fees to Rs. 1 crore and Rs. 5 crores, respectively.
The news was first shared in a report by Track Tollywood which said that Janhvi Kapoor was asking for more money than the other successful actresses in the league. While the amount remains undisclosed, it will ultimately be seen if her demand is fulfilled if she ends up starring in those films.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Milli and was massively appreciated for her portrayal. She will be next seen in Bawaal and Mr & Mrs. Mahi.
