According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi and Shah Rukh Khan will go face to face in Jawan. SRK will shortly begin working on the set in Mumbai. However, the creators have not yet made an official announcement regarding him being locked in as the antagonist in the film.

Shah Rukh Khan has found a worthy opponent in ‘Jawan’ as South superstar Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in, to essay a terrifying villain in the film. Sources in the film’s camp revealed that Vijay will join the shoot in the coming weeks.
A source close to the actor revealed that the Vikram actor has agreed to be part of the film. “Since Sethupathi is one of the most occupied actors in India, dates are now being worked out. Soon, he will join the film’s sets in Mumbai for the shooting. An announcement will be made at the right time,” added the source.

Previously, Jawan filmmakers had approached Rana Daggubati for the antagonist role. However, the ‘Baahubali’ actor reportedly had a busy schedule and the makers roped in Vijay Sethupathi to play the villain.
Vijay, who previously played the antagonist in several films like Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, R Madhavan’s Vikram Vedha, Upenna, and others, will apparently fight Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen.
Meanwhile, ‘Jawan’ features Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Priyamani, Yogi Babu, Simarjeet Singh Nagra, Sunil Grover, and Manahar Kumar are part of the supporting cast. Cinematographer GK Vishnu, composer Anirudh Ravichander and art director Sukracharyya Ghosh form the technical crew.
