ISKCON – Sri Jagannath Swamy Temple

Blessed are the natives of Sheshadripuram to have such a holy temple in the vicinity. ‘Opulence’ – is the only word to describe the palace temple of Lord Jagannath is what the temple conveys. Truly an amazing spiritual center to be at. The divine and the serene aura in the temple is extremely soulful. The temple hosts special activities like ‘Corporate Programs’, ‘Youth Forum’, ‘The Sunday Feast’ etc which are mind changing, life-changing and extremely helpful, especially to the youth to lead a spiritual life.

Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath

Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath is an ancient iconic visual art complex located in Sheshadripuram. The complex has 18 galleries. 13 of these galleries carry a permanent collection of paintings, sculptures and folk art. The other galleries are rented out for exhibitions of works by artists of repute. The Parishath organizes ‘Chitra Santhe’, a cultural event, in January of every year. The motto of the event is “Art for All”. The event showcases affordable art to the public being a blessing to the art lovers.

Sri Mahalakshmi Temple

An alluring abode of Goddess Lakshmi which is exceedingly beautiful with impressive decorations and an ambiance which assures you with blissful positive vibrations for the rest of your day. Holy poojas and rituals offered to the Goddess are carried out very systematically. The temple witnesses immense crowd especially on Fridays. During festivals, Goddess Mahalakshmi is all the more beautified with dazzling ornaments, splendid flowers and several other forms of delightful adornments offered.

Sanman Restaurant

The most loved vegetarian restaurant in the locality has a calm and cool ambiance which is absolutely amazing. The Restaurant serves some great food, but their delicious dosa’s are the highlight with courteous staff as well. You have some tasty north Indian and south Indian dishes being served but the different kind of dosa’s like the onion dosa, rava dosa and varieties of chutneys for breakfast are a  must try and of course the refreshing coffee offered here. Gullu’s Chaat

One of the oldest and tastiest ‘north indian style chats’ center in and around seshadripuram. It serves as many as 50 types of varied chat recipes, with its various branches in Bangalore. The masalapuri’s, served here are simply the best with a taste like nowhere and the yummy panipuri’s served here are out of the world! And of course not to miss on the flavourful samosa’s. Along with these, they do have a finger-licking menu of ‘chat-pati’ zesty kinds of stuff. The place is a must visit to all the chat lovers out there.

Shri Govardhan Nath Haveli

Located amidst a busy main road the temple is dedicated to Shri Govardhan Nathji (Shrinathji), a form of Lord Krishna, manifest as a seven-year-old child. The haveli is a highly spiritual and peaceful place to be at. The ancient Haveli being an abode of Lord Krishna is extremely soul soothing with a tranquil atmosphere all around. The idol of Lord Krishna at the temple is extremely beautiful and pleasing. Darshan of such a sacred and holy idol is absolute bliss. A must visit to all the Krishna devotees.

Umesh Dosa Point

The most popular eatery offering authentic south Indian breakfast eats like the crispy masala dosa’s with fresh coconut chutney, crunchy vada’s dipped in aromatic sambar, mouthwatering pulav with tasty raita etc. The not so lavishly furnished eatery witness heavy crowd especially in the mornings with people longing to have a bite of their favorite breakfast eats. Bombay Vada Pav

The vada pav that is dished up here is one of the best you can ever have in Bangalore. The pav’s here are extremely soft with tasty vadas stuffed in. Having a bite of the Bombay vada pav which has the delicious aloo stuffing with some spicy masala powder inside and some butter on top is simply mind-blowing. Also, the mouthwatering pav bhaji is all the more yummy, with extremely soft pav’s with ghee smeared all over and the extremely flavourful bhaji. Other than the authentic Bombay vada pav, the Butter Dabeli with fluffy butter pav’s stuffed with perfect spicy or sweet dabeli masala is truly delightful as well. Sri Subrahmanyeshwara Swamy Temple

One of the oldest temples of Bangalore with Lord Murugan being the deity. Located amidst lush green environment with the soothing atmosphere it is a great place to have some divine intervention. The temple with more than 100 years of history has all rituals & festivals celebrated authentically with sacred culture and traditions followed, since long. The Rath Yatra on a day before Ratha Sapthami is absolutely a visual treat with the entire area filled with devotees, fruits and flower markets. A must visit to all Lord Subrahmanya followers.

Bhimas Garden

An excellent eat out with wonderful service, lovely ambiance and great food, being one of its kind in Bangalore. Makes a great place for a family hangout with extremely delicious south Indian and north Indian food at affordable prices. It offers great authentic South Indian cuisines but especially the masala dosa’s, the soft and fluffy idli’s dipped in sambar and the delicious kesari bath served here, are a must try. An exquisite restaurant since 12 years which was established in 2006 is one of the best restaurants of the locality.

HVR Veg

A fantastic restaurant to all the veg lovers out there. One of the popular vegetarians eat – outs for some fresh, piping hot south Indian breakfast eats. Especially known for their varied dosa’s. The Benne Masala dosa’s which are crispy brown dosas served with freshly ground coconut chutney and aloo palya is mind-blowing, The service is pretty fast with food served on a plantain leaf. Also, the restaurant has some exemplary south Indian cuisines on the menu which are undoubtedly delicious.
