Here is One of India’s Biggest Food Festival happening in the name of Thindi Potha, a colloquial Kannada word for a hardcore foodie. Thindi Pothara Habba, meaning the festival for foodies is all set to begin in Namma Bengaluru. It is a one-acre food carnival arranged for hardcore food lovers in the city. If you wish to try different varieties of vegetarian food at one place then you got to make time for Thindi Pothara Habba.
100+ Food Stalls Serving Different Varieties of Food
The fest begins on October 5th (today) and HD Devegowda will be inaugurating it. In this event, more than 1000+ varieties of food items will be served under 100+ food stalls put in the area. Right from traditional Karnataka food to North-Indian and Continental, one can have a chance to taste exceeding varieties under one roof. The specialty of Thindi Pothara Habba is its variety of food being served by best of the best food points of Bengaluru. It is going to be a true blue festival for foodies in the city and the venue is all set for a food gaga.
Music, Dance and More
Thindi Pothara Habba is not only confined to food but one can enjoy cultural programs of various kind. There will be Drummer Deva performing coupled with a concert by Violinist Vidya Shankar. As an add-on, there will be Punjabi Bhangda Dance and Short film screening to attract people from all walks of life.
Thindi Paatre for a Cause
One interesting thing about Thindi Pothara Habba is its initiative named ‘Thindi Paatre’. The food remained for a day will be collected and will be served to needy for free. Isn’t this a great move?
