The Kashmir Files has beaten all records at the box office. Vivek Agnihotri’s film, seven days after release, enters the Rs 100 crore club. Bachchhan Pandey, also, fails to compete with the film.

The 100 crore club

Before even completing one week in the theatres, the Kashmir Files has broken all records at the box office by reaching the 100 crore mark.

It is reported that, on early friday, the total box office collection went to Rs 97.57 crore. But at as the day ended the film touched the century mark.

The Kashmir Files, which was released on March 11, is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus during the Kashmir insurgency in 1990. The film has Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi; playing important roles.

The total box office collection of Vivek Agnihotri’s film now stands at Rs 106.80 crore. The second-week collection of TKF is predicted to be more than what the film earns this week.

Record-breaking collection

Keeping an eye on Holi, it would also be interesting to watch the Anupam Kher-starrer compete with Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Pandey which releases on March 18.

However, experts believe that Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey will be impacted as the TKF is dominating the screen space in Week 2 also.
