Few days ago a boy from Manipur had created his very own simulated iron man suit, being a marvel fan it was his dream to develop a suit similar to Iron man! That video went viral across the social media platforms and that had caught the attention of Anand Mahindra who appreciated the young boy’s efforts. He hails from a small town with minimal facilities and still had a lot of creativity inside him which wowed Mr. Mahindra and he extended full support to nourish his skills.
I had tweeted about Prem, the young man from Imphal who used scrap material to build an ‘Iron Man’ suit. I was keen to support his obvious talent & I’m grateful to our Auto sector partners, Shivz Autotech in Imphal for visiting Prem & his family to understand his desires. Iron man Suit Out Of Electronic Waste
This 20-year-old boy named Ningombam Prem created a replica of the Marvel character Iron Man out of electronic waste. He made the suit using discarded scrap materials, emergency lamps, electronic toys, syringes, speaker frames and even IV-fluid tubes.
Remember Prem, our young Indian Ironman from Imphal? We promised to help him get the engineering education he wanted and I’m delighted to share that he has arrived at @MahindraUni in Hyderabad. Thank you Indigo for taking such good care of him.. https://t.co/7Z6yBi39yi pic.twitter.com/Hw7f0c5lGW

His invention got a lot of attention and created a storm on social media. He was praised by business giants such as Anand Mahindra. Not just that, the business tycoon in October had said his company would not only help the boy to pursue his dreams but their foundation would also finance the education of the boy and his siblings.
Training At A Mahindra Facility In Hyderabad
Now after pledging to help Prem, Mahindra shared an important update on his Twitter handle that the talented boy has arrived in Hyderabad for his skill training. He even thanked Indigo for taking good care of the boy and sent a driver for him in Hyderabad as well.
On Tuesday, Mahindra shared two photos on Twitter saying, “We promised to help him get the engineering education he wanted and I’m delighted to share that he has arrived at Mahindra University in Hyderabad.” He also thanked the airline company, IndiGo for his safe travel. This wasn’t it. Mahindra also tagged the Chief Design Officer of Mahindra and Mahindra, Pratap Bose, saying that he too was impressed with Ningombam’s creations and would mentor Prem in his future endeavours.
People on the internet were impressed by Anand Mahindra and the fact that he’s supporting this budding inventor. Indeed tycoons like Anand Mahindra are real gems of the country by actually recognising the talents. Hopefully more unrecognised wonder kids get similar opportunities in the future.
