Yash starrer creates history yet again, becomes the first Kannada film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in Tamil Nadu. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film is enjoying a phenomenal run at the box office.

Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel, is dominating the box office worldwide. Despite many new releases in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, KGF: Chapter 2 still remains firm with an excellent theatre occupancy rate. Recently, the film collected Rs 1000 crore worldwide and is still going strong. KGF: Chapter 2 is one of the highest-grossing films of 2022.
And now, the film has created yet another record by becoming the only Sandalwood film to reach the Rs 100 crore mark in the state of Tamil Nadu.

KGF overtakes Beast
While Beast dominated in Tamil Nadu because of Thalapathy Vijay for a few days, KGF: Chapter 2 later emerged as a storm and got more screens.
Some Vijay fans stepped up and appreciated the Yash starrer for its enormous run at the Tamil Box Office. One of the Vijay fans writes, “We accept the defeat. In more good news for its makers, KGF 2 has emerged as the third highest-grossing Hindi movie in India with its collections overtaking the lifetime earnings of the super hits Tiger Zinda Hai, PK, and Sanju. Prashanth Neel’s film was released with a bang on April 14, registering the highest opening day collections. The KGF 2 Hindi film is now set to reach the Rs 400 crore mark.
