Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s ashes were immersed at Patna’s NIT ghat, by the late actor’s family, father K K Singh and his two sisters on Thursday. The family had flown to their hometown Patna on Wednesday after performing his last rites earlier on Monday in Mumbai, the funeral was attended by many Bollywood & TV actors.
An urn carrying the ashes of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was brought by his father & sisters for immersion in the Ganga river at the NIT ghat in Patna today, Thursday, June 18,2020.
On Thursday, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti wrote on Facebook: “Reached my Patna’s home safely yesterday. Thanks to everyone who was praying and who helped in the process. It was hassle free. Today we will be doing Asthi Visarjan (ashes immersion) for Bhai. I again want to ask all to pray for him and send him off with all the fond memories and unconditional love in your hearts. Let’s celebrate his life and give him a very loving and happy farewell.”
Not only the Bollywood industry but the whole world is lamenting over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death right now. His tragic death has brought many in a state of shell shock and has flooded his social media accounts with many heartbroken comments and condolences.
Sushant was a leading actor of Bollywood. He started his movie career with Kai Po Che in 2013, but received the extravagant fame through MS Dhoni: The Untold Story in 2016; a movie that changed his life forever.
