The Member of Parliament from Rajya Sabha and the senior leader in the Bharatiya Janata Party, Subramanian Swamy has been a vocal advocate for the fair inquiry in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s case.
Early on in the case, Subramanian Swamy called the death murder and listed a number of reasons that made him arrive at the judgment. Recently, he also hinted at an alleged Dubai link to the death and accused “Khan Musketeers” in the case. He said,
“Who gifted them bungalows and properties there and how they bought it and the cartelization needs to be investigated by SIT of ED, IT and CBI. Are they above the law?”
On Monday, he drew parallels between the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and the death of actress Sridevi which Swamy believes has a link to a Dubai compliant drug dealer. Swamy also brought up the Sunanda Puskar case and stated that,
“Like in Sunanda Pushkar case, the real give away was what was found in her stomach during post mortem by AIIMS doctors. This was not done for Sridevi or Sushant. In Sushant’s case, a Dubai compliant drug dealer Ayash Khan had met Sushant on the day of Sushant’s murder. Why?”

Sridevi Death Case
In 2018, the yesteryear actress Sridevi passed away in her hotel room while she was on a trip to the United Arab Emirates. Back then too, there were allegations of foul play but her death was ruled out as an accidental drowning. Swamy had said,
“Let’s wait for prosecution to pronounce it. Facts in the media don’t appear to be consistent. She never drank hard liquor, how did it enter her system? What happened to CCTV? Doctors suddenly appeared before media and said she died of heart failure.”
He had also added that,
“Cinema actresses aur Dawood ke jo rishte hain, naajayaz rishte hain us par hamein thoda dhyaan dena padega.”
