Now, the government is considering a cautious, partial re-opening in the green zones. Government’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic has been lauded by the majority of the populace, polled in the survey.“
The role of the Government so far
After facing flak in the initial stages for their handling of the issue, the BJP Government, later on, with the timely announcement of the lockdown and its strict enforcement, has done a decent job of keeping the Coronavirus at bay, when you compare with the other countries which have failed in this aspect.
At the moment, the lockdown in the country has been extended until May 17th, while certain relaxations have been given in certain regions of the country.
