A student satellite project designed and going to be launched by the students of various Govt schools in Karnataka will be named after Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar.

The project named Puneeth Rajkumar Student Satellite Project will look at 100 students participating in this across 20 Govt schools. The students going to participate in the program will be selected based on their performance and tests in various competitions.
The Govt PU College in Malleswaram 18th cross will be one of the ground stations for one of the 75 satellites going to be launched and mark 75 years of independence. The launch is expected to happen in September.
The estimated cost of the project will be 19 crore Rs and will weigh about 1.5 kgs. In order to train the students on the same, the classes will begin from April 22 and will done on both online and offline mode.
The program will include various modules to be taught and also visits to various scientific institutions across the country.
