One such person who was worshipped like God was Dr. Shivakumar Swamiji. Today, it is a sad day for the nation as Swamiji passes away leaving behind undisputed humanitarian values.
Shivakumar Swamiji was 111 Years Old
Dr. Sri Sri Sri Shivakumar Swamiji is no more. The seer of Siddaganga Mutt passed away after a prolonged illness on Monday (21.1.2019). Born on April 1, 1907, to a simple farmer family in Magadi Taluk, Ramanagara District, he got initiated into the fold in 1930. It was in 1941, that he was appointed the present Head of Siddaganga Mutt, by Shri Uddana Swamiji.
Chief Minister Confirms
Chief minister H D Kumar Swamy said, “Swamiji passed away at 11:44 AM today. He will be cremated tomorrow at 4:30 PM.” The minister has requested the devotees and followers to pay their last respect with peace.

Shri Shri #ShivakumaraSwamiji's yeoman service to the society has been exemplary — he enabled children across the boundaries of caste, creed & religion with free food, shelter & education.
He was the guiding light to many & lived what he taught.
