#ShameOnCongress Trends On Twitter After Congress Leader Says That J&K Is Not An Internal Matter

Congress party who has the majority number of opposers regarding the scrapping of article 370, feels the scrapping of the Bill was not an internal matter and is a bilateral issue. In a huge debate about Kashmir in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday Morning, Congress MLA Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury questioned the government whether Article 370 and Jammu and Kashmir is an internal matter. He claims Kashmir is not India’s internal matter since the United Nation has been monitoring the situation since 1948.

Congress statement triggered Lok Sabha in a huge debate

Chowdhury’s statement triggered a huge protest in the Lok Sabha as he questions India’s jurisdiction over Kashmir. In a statement, he said, “You say that it is an internal matter. But it is being monitored since 1948 by the UN. Is that an internal matter? We signed the Shimla Agreement and the Lahore Declaration. Was that an internal matter or bilateral?” he asked.

The home Minister hits back at Congress MP by saying that not only Jammu and Kashmir but Pak Occupied Kashmir is also India’s internal part. And said could give away life for it. He said, “Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of Union of India including PoK, willing to die for it.”

With Congress questioning whether Jammu and Kashmir matter is internal or bilateral, the ruling party BJP alleges Congress for playing into Pakistan’s agenda which has fallaciously believed that Kashmir is not a part of India.

Later Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury went on clarifying his statement and said his government since 1994 adopted a resolution to restore POK.
