Shah Rukh Khan & His Son Dubs Voice For ‘The Lion King’, Twitter Calls SRK ‘The King Of Nepotism’

Walt Disney Studio’s most awaited animation movie The Lion King (2019) is all set to release on July 19th. This movie is the remake of Disney’s The Lion King, 1994 popular animation movie. Interestingly the movie is all set to feature Shahrukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan in the Hindi version of the movie.

Aryan’s Film Industry Debut

Shah Rukh Khan earlier made it official in the social media, about his son Aryan’s debut project. SRK and his son Aryan Khan will be giving their voices for ‘The Lion King’ movie characters Mufasa and Simba in Hindi, which will be a much-awaited movie for SRK fans.

The Bollywood Badshah took to Twitter and wrote, “Glad to be a part of this journey… a timeless film. Voicing it in Hindi with my own Simba. The last time we did a film was around 15 years ago and it was ‘Incredible’ and this time around its even more fun. Hope everyone enjoys it 19th July onwards. #TheLionKing.”

Shahrukh earlier tweeted, where both father and son were spotted wearing team India’s jersey which had names of The Lion King’s father-son duo Mufasa and Simba on it. The tweet was for cheering team India on ICC Cricket World Cup Match match versus Pakistan and said “Ready for the match with the spirit of Father’s Day. Go India GO!!”

Twitter Lashes out at SRK

Soon after the official announcement, the twitter was buzzed with praises and appreciations, but the other side called it to be the flagbearer of nepotism. People accused SRK and Bollywood of surpassing all levels of nepotism. Many people lashed out at him for hailing him as the ‘king of nepotism’, ‘New form of nepotism’ to ‘nepotism club’, Shah Rukh was subjected to massive trolling.
