The first look poster of Sanjay Dutt from the second installment of the blockbuster film KGF was released amid much hype. Incidentally, the poster was released on the birthday of Sanjay Dutt.
The production house Hombale films in a tweet said that the character was inspired by the brutal ways of the Vikings. In the poster, Sanjay Dutt featured with a rustic tattoo and holding a sword. While many started assuming that there has been an inspiration with the series the Vikings. But the director Prashanth Neel cleared the air by saying,
“We wanted to know the actor menacingly, and we decided to go with a Viking look. Sanjay sir has put a lot of effort and thought into it personally. His input has been huge.”
Sanjay Dutt Shares Excitement
Sanjay Dutt himself took to Twitter and revealed the poster and also shared his excitement. He wrote on Twitter,
“It’s been a pleasure working on this film and I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday gift.”
He also thanked producer Vijay Kiragandur, Yash, Karthik Gowda, Deepak, Likitha, Pradeep, and the entire team of KGF. He also thanked his fans for the immense love they have showered on him.
KGF Chapter 2 will also have Rocking star Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead like its predecessor. There is news that Raveena Tandon might play the character of the much-hyped role of the Prime Minister. The second part too will have music from Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda. The art department will be taken care of by Shivakumar.
The Excel Entertainment will also be a producer in the second installment while they were presenters in the first. The KGF Chapter 2 was initially scheduled for the release of the 23rd of October but the coronavirus pandemic has altered the plans. The release looks uncertain as of now.
