KGF Chapter 2 currently remains one of the top films of 2022, as the South actioner has so far collected over 950 Crore and it is rapidly marching towards 1000 Crore worldwide. Apart from the humungous box office collections, the Rocking Star Yash has a special success mantra for fans after KGF Chapter 2 success.
The Success Mantra
Yash is currently enjoying the success of his recently released film, KGF: Chapter 2. The film has smashed all the records at the box office. The actor, known for his uncompromising approach to his brand of cinema, has cemented his pan-India superstardom with the Prashanth Neel directorial. This status did not come easy, and now, it is time for him to sit back and enjoy the fruits of the sacrifices he says he has made in the last six years when he trained all his focus and energy on a single project.
In an interview, he explained the success mantra with a help of a story.
“There is this Chinese Bambo tree. You plant this tree and despite the Bamboo seed being watered and nurtured for years, it will not outwardly grow as much as an inch. In fact, nothing will happen for years.”
“But, if you don’t give up and still continued to water and nurture it. By the third year, a tiny sprout will emerge from the earth. And within two months, the tree grows 80 feet tall.”
Patience is the key
“So, did the bamboo tree lie inactive for three years only to grow exponentially in the third?” The answer is quite obvious. The little tree was growing underground, creating a root system strong enough to support its potential for outward growth in the third year and beyond. Had the tree not developed a strong foundation, it would not have sustained its life as it grew.”
“The value system works like this. Your confidence, strength, and courage should be deep-rooted in you so that if you grow in the future you can sustain yourself. If your roots are weak you may fall. So you must also have patience,” explains Yash.
Coming to the film’s success, in India, KGF Chapter 2 surpassed the lifetime collections of Tiger Zinda Hai, PK, and Sanju to become the third-highest grossing Hindi film. Tiger Zinda Hai, PK, and Sanju had gross collections of Rs 339.16 crore, Rs 340.80 crore, and Rs 342.53 crore, respectively.
