8. RCB Vs. CSK 18th match 2010
Chennai won the toss and asked the host to bat first. Robin Uthappa scored a quick 68* off 38 balls which helped RCB to score 171 with the loss of 5 wickets. In the reply, Chennai only managed to get 135 with the loss of 7 wickets, with Matthew Hayden managed to get most runs for his team scoring 32 runs off 28 balls. Royal Challengers managed to score 165 with the loss of 6 wickets, AB de Villiers brilliant 64 of 32 balls and Virat Kohli’s 58 0f 47 balls helped the team to go par 150. Chennai on a slower wicket managed to get only 128 with the loss of 8 wickets, where MS Dhoni ( 70 of 40 balls) and Wriddhiman Saha ( 22 of 30) where the only batsmen to have double figures. Murli Vijay and Michael Hussey ( Vijay 95 of 52 balls, Hussey 63 of 45 balls) stole the spotlight as they helped the team score a confident 205 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. RCB in the chase lost its top order as Kohli who managed to keep the team hopefull alongside Saurabh Tiwari, unfortunately, the team only managed to get 147 on the board for the loss of 8 wickets.
