With the best Jolad Rotti and 3 different types of gravy, the hotel serves puliogre, Unde (sweet ball), Poha (Avalakki), North Karnataka style Sajjige, Upma, Akki Rotti, Paddus, and a special item called ‘Oggarane’ as morning and evening snack.

For lunch and dinner, you can order Kadak Rotti, Normal Rotti, Brinjal Curry, Holige (Coconut and Hoorna) with a plate filled different cuisines of North Karnataka.

They serve the epic North Karnataka food and the menu includes Ragi Rotti Meals, Akki Rotti Meals, Jolad Rotti Meals with an average price of Rs.40 to Rs.45. You can relish the fresh food prepared in front of you and the place is quite hygienic. One thing that adds to the taste is the food being served directly from the hot tava.

This is a Popular food point in Basavanagudi. If you go to Bull temple then you should visit this place. They have an authentic Bengaluru menu and the quality of food is highly applauded and appreciated. In Kamat bugle rock, leave the usual food items and try North Karnataka food.

If you wish to spend some good time with your friends along with North Karnataka snacks then this place is for you.

Rotti Mane, Indiranagar

In a place like Indiranagar, Rotti Mane is a boon for North Kannadigas. The eatery serves Jowar Roti and Chapathi Meals, Holige Meals, and other breakfast items. I don’t rate this as the best place for North Karnataka food but an ideal place in a locality like Indiranagar.

Where: Behind Cauvery school, Off 80 Feet Road, Indiranagar

Nalapak, Rajajinagar

One of the finest and highly rated hotels in Bangalore for North Karnataka food. It has anything and everything to Karnataka food you wish to eat. There will be breakfast till 11:45 AM and lunch starts at 12:30 PM. The typical North Karnataka meal here include Jowar Roti, Brinjal Curry, Lentils Rice rasam, two chutneys, Buttermilk, and Curd. I have never heard anything negative about this restaurant except the crazy crowd during weekends.

Must Have: Jolad roti meal

Open: 7 AM to 4 PM and 5 PM to 10:30 PM

Where: Near Navarang Theater, Rajajinagar

Venkateshwara Hotel, Basavanagudi

This is a bill-perfect place where you can have a relaxed meal (lunch or dinner). You should order a Jowar Rotti meal which includes 2 Rotti, Brinjal Curry (Ennegayi), Mixed pulse curry, a cup of curd, rice, sambar, rasam buckled with pickle and cucumber. If you are not so hungry then you can simply go for Rotti Curry or Rice Plate option.

Again, the ambiance is not so fancy-poshy but the meal has a majestic taste. When you are hungry and craving for an awesome food then ambiance doesn’t really matter (our perception).
