In one of the recent interviews, the actor revealed that a migrant worker named her recently delivered-baby after him as a token of gratitude. He added that the gestured touched him, and made him feel honored.
The migrant workers’ issue
One of the worst-hit communities due to the Coronavirus crisis has been the migrant workers. However, Sonu Sood is trying his best to resolve the problems of some of these people.
He has been arranging buses along with adequate essentials so that these workers could travel back home. This way, Sonu is doing great service to the society.
Sonu Sood touched by one incident
Speaking about the one incident that touched him, Sonu Sood said: “One of the groups that I sent to Darbhanga on May 12 had two pregnant ladies in it. The group has reached home and this lady had her baby yesterday; The family called me to say that she has named her son Sonu Sood. I said, how can it be Sonu Sood as you are Shrivastav. It could probably be Sonu Shrivastav, but she said, ‘Nahi humney bachche ka naam Sonu Sood Shrivastav rakha hai. That was so sweet; I was touched.”
Not only by the migrant workers, but Sonu Sood is also being appreciated by many across the film fraternity. The actor also got a call from the Governor of Maharashtra, who appreciated the actor’s social work.
