Ravindra Jadeja Got His Place In The Playing XI, Twitterati Trolled Sanjay Manjrekar

India and Sri Lanka kick start their last game in the World Cup group stage. The yellow lions won the toss and put India to Bowl. In fact, India on the other side had two changes where they have decided to rest Mohammed Shami and Yuzvendra Chahal, and bring in Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja. Now the inclusion of Jadeja in the squad have created lots of trolls in the social media, but these trolls are not for Jadu but the cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar.

Manjrekar criticized Jadeja

Jadeja, who is a part of India’s 15 men squad at the World Cup, after a long time, finally gets to play in the playing XI. Now, his inclusion in the team has made his fans troll Sanjay Manjrekar who had earlier criticized the all-rounder. On being questioned about, whether Team India should go for someone like Jadeja after the wrist spinners’ failed against England, Manjrekar called Jadeja a “bits and pieces” cricketer and said he was at the end of his career.

“I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at this point of his career in 50-over cricket. In Test matches, he is a pure bowler. But in 50-over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner.

Jadeja’s Reply

Taking a jib at Manjrekar, the spin all-rounder said he has played for India in far more matches than he has does. Jadeja tweeted, “Still I have played twice the number of matches you have played and I’m still playing. Learn to respect ppl (people) who have achieved. I have heard enough of your verbal diarrhea.”

After the Indian captain Virat Kohli announced him as a replacement of Mohammed Shami, his fans took to twitter and started trolling the former batsman.
