Rashmika feels South never had ‘Impactful Romantic Songs’, says ‘Bollywood wins here’

Rashmika Mandanna spoke about the difference between Bollywood and South films. Explains a few best things Hindi films can do better than down south.

Rashmika on Bollywood

Actress Rashmika Mandanna will be seen for the first time with Sidharth Malhotra in their upcoming film Mission Majnu. The lead actors are leaving no stone unturned to get their fans excited about the spy thriller that is set to release early next year.

Now, the team has released the first song from the film. The song titled Rabba Janda features Sidharth Malhotra’s character Tariq falling in love with Rashmika Mandanna as Nasreen.

Making her fresh presence in Hindi Films, Rashmika recently opened up about the influence Bollywood songs have had on her over the years. The actress spoke about it at the recent song launch event of her upcoming film, ‘Mission Majnu’.

Things that Bollywood can do much better

The Pushpa actress said that she feels Bollywood songs are more romantic. According to her, south songs are more ‘massy’ and filled with masala. However, when it comes to romantic numbers, Bollywood wins.

Meanwhile, Rashmika’s Bollywood debut was with Vikas Bahl’s ‘Goodbye’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta. The film did not do many wonders so she will be hoping Mission Majnu would give her a Bollywood breakthrough.

The 26-year-old also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ next in her kitty. The film will also star Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in lead roles.
