In India, we greet each other with namaste. Likewise, in a heartwarming gesture, Rajinikanth touched CM yogi’s feet upon his arrival. Thalaivar Rajinikanth met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adithyanath at his residence in Lucknow on August 19th. He was accompanied by his wife, Latha Rajinikanth for the screening of his recently-released blockbuster “Jailer.” This gesture has left netizens, his fans and Tamilians divided. It is because Rajinikanth is younger to Yogi. Those who have found no fault in Rajinikanth’s gesture say that it is common for Hindus to touch a spiritual leader’s feet. Others pointed out how Rajinikanth was receiving blessings from a man who is younger than him and has taken several anti-Dalit and Muslim stances in the past.
