If you are a Rajinikanth fan then the last few years have been unfortunate for you but now, it seems that your star is back in action. The last movie of Rajanikanth that caught everyone’s attention was Endhiran. The superstar then did Kochadiiyan, an animation film where the audience didn’t feel the essence of Rajani, as expected. Movies that came after are Kabali and Linga where we saw a glimpse of him, but they didn’t go as expected. Even the recent release 2.0 did great business but it didn’t give a feel of Rajanikanth and his typicality. In this context, Petta is an honest attempt made to bring back that lost Rajanikanth.

Directed by Karthik Subbaraju, Petta has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. Owing to the early reviews, both from critics and audience, Petta is a typical Rajanikanth movie where one can experience his vintage style backed by a great story.
