Rajinikanth To Shoot For Man Vs Wild Episode With Bear Grylls In Karnataka’s Bandipura Tiger Reserve

The South sensation Thalaivar is all set to star in an upcoming episode of Bear Grylls’ popular wild adventure show Man Vs Wild. The actor and the upcoming politician in making, Rajnikant will be the second Indian celebrity to feature in the show after Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, if things go according to plan, Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar may also be seen in the show.

Rajnikanth to feature in Man vs. Wild

According to the sources, Rajinikanth and Grylls will travel between the wild in Bandipur Tiger Reserve, Karnataka and the shooting for the episode will take place for six hours in a day in the forest area. The first-day shoot has already been completed on January 27 and the remaining part will be completed on Tuesday.

The ANI posted a photo of Bear getting out of his vehicle and captioned it stating, “British adventurer Bear Grylls arrives at Bandipur forest in Karnataka for a shoot with actor Rajinikanth for an episode of his show ‘Man vs Wild’.”

Previously Prime Minister Narendra Modi had joined Grylls for an extraordinary episode of the adventure-survival series as they explored the Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is also awaited to shoot for Bear ‘Man vs Wild’ show on the Discovery channel.

Shoot at Bandipura Tiger Reserve

Speaking to the media, a senior forest administration official said approval for the shooting has been given for six hours in a day for January 28 and 30 with each special guest appearing every day. On Tuesday it is with Rajanikanth and on 30th noted Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is also expected.

“Permission for the shooting has been given for Sultan Batteri highway and ranges of Mulleholle, Maddur and Kalkere ranges. They will be shooting in the non-tourism zones. If approval was given to Wild Karnataka shooting, then this is also allowed and besides chief wildlife warden has given support.”

“No tourism or regular forest guarding and fire line creation activities will be affected. The shooting will be done under special forest protection and no one will be aware of the locations,” the official said.
