The late Kannada actor will be presented with the Karnataka Ratna award on November 1 at Bengaluru’s Vidhana Soudha. According to reports, Tamil cinema star Rajinikanth and Telugu cinema star Junior NTR will also attend the function.

According to State Revenue Minister R Ashoka, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai would want this year’s Karnataka Ratna, the highest civilian honor granted by the state, to be particularly notable. Preparations have been going on for the past ten days for the function to be held in Bengaluru.
Karnataka government had extended the invitation to Rajinikanth to grace the ceremony as the chief guest. Following that, the actor confirmed his participation.

In a letter to Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the actor wrote, “I take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks to you and your government for the invitation extended to me to be the CHIEF GUEST for the Karnataka Ratna Award ceremony on the 1st of November, on the grand steps of the monumental Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru.
With deep honor, I want to confirm my participation in this memorable event of NAMA APPU, who continues to inspire all of us every single day. I want to inform you that my departure from Chennai is scheduled on 1st November at 2.00 pm, and I shall be arriving in Bengaluru by around 3.00 pm.”
Preparations have been going on for the past ten days for the function to be held in Bengaluru. Telugu cinema star Junior NTR is also anticipated to attend the event. The program will take place on November 1 at 4 p.m. The event will take place on the steps of Vidhana Soudha, and renowned playback singer Vijay Prakash and his companions will perform. Over 5,000 passes would be distributed.
